How long have you been working with cars?

The garage has been established since 1979; we have over 36 years of experience working with most makes and models of vehicle.

Do you carry out MOTs?

We undertake MOTs on Class 4 & Class 7 vehicles on behalf of the DVSA. A Class 7 vehicle is any vehicle which has a gross weight of between 3000 and 3500kg. A car or a van in these classes must have an MOT once it reaches 3 years of age and then annually by the anniversary of its last MOT.

How often should I have my vehicle serviced?

Vehicle servicing schedules depend very much on the manufacturer of your vehicle and its mileage. We would recommend a service every 12 months, ideally 6 months after your MOT. Most vehicles will warn you when a service is required.

Do you have facilities I can use whilst my car is in the garage?

Yes, we have a comfortable seating area where you can watch the work being done, read a magazine have a drink or use our free Wi-Fi.

Do I have to stay on site when my vehicle is being repaired?

No, you may leave it with us and return to collect it later if you wish.

What is tested during an MOT?

You can find out more about our MOT testing facilities and the test itself here.

What's the difference between a service and an MOT?

An MOT ensures that your vehicle is roadworthy and a service keeps your vehicle in prime condition. An MOT is a legal requirement but a service is not.
